Jasmine enjoys activities like scrapbooking, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Corey Hamilton serves as a Progressive Student Advisor (PASS) for Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) students. Originally from Orlando, Florida, Corey made the transition to Atlanta, Georgia via Columbus, Ohio where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Affairs and Nonprofit Management from The Ohio State University. After completing his bachelor’s degree, he obtained a Master of Business Administration in International Business from the Salem University. He enjoys inspiring students to excel as leaders, entrepreneurs, and world citizens. In his free time, Corey enjoys spending time with his church family at Faith Covenant Church, engaging in athletic activity, traveling, and serving multiple nonprofit organizations in the greater Atlanta area.

Teshia Sims M.A, M.S

Senior Progressive Student Advisor

Teshia Sims joined Life University in March 2011. She advises Doctor of Chiropractic students on academic planning, university resources, course selection, and registration. She also teaches a first-year experience class for all Doctor of Chiropractic students to help them adjust to Life University and their new program. She also has experience in advising the undergraduate population to include, international students, provisional students and at-risk students. Teshia has a BS in communications from Arkansas State University, an MA in Organizational Leadership from Shorter College, and an MS in Positive Psychology from Life University. In Teshia’s spare time she likes to write short stories, blog and travel.

Jennifer is a Progressive Student Advisor for the Doctor of Chiropractic Program. Jennifer is originally from Uniondale, New York. She moved to the Sunshine State to attend the University of South Florida, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Jennifer also attended the University of Central Florida where she earned her Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership. Before coming to Life University to join the University Advisement team, Jennifer has worked in Students Activities, Residence Life and Student Services. Jennifer enjoys listening to music, visiting waterfalls, and spending time with friends and family.

Anitha Walker M.S.

Anitha Walker serves as a Progressive Student Advisor and Instructor at Life University. She is also a life University Alumni, receiving both her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Masters in Positive Psychology from this Institution. She has been in the High Education field for over 25 years. She started off this path in the Registrar’s office, then Admissions, the Deans Office and now the University Advisement Center. Anitha is responsible for assisting with the university-wide development of a relationship-based model of holistic advising in support of the educational, career and personal success of the student. She is currently working on her Doctoral Degree in Education. Her academic goal is to complete her doctoral degree in Education and move forward in the processes that lead to her passions of becoming a great academic leader and instructor. Anitha enjoys dancing, event planning, and decorating for holiday seasons.

She is from Tampa, Florida, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of South Florida. After completing her bachelor’s degree, she obtained a Master of Education in Professional Counseling with a concentration in College Student Affairs from the University of West Georgia. She enjoys assisting students in their first-year transition effectively to college. In her free time, Erica enjoys activities like hiking, running, and traveling.
