Dr. Ramsey has held a variety of senior leadership positions in the private and public sectors, most notably as CTO of the Positive Psychology Coaching and Diversity Institute, where he leads the development of innovative solutions that support coaching interventions for underserved populations.

Dr. Ramsey previously served as an Adjunct professor at Capitol Technology University, teaching in the Computer Science department.

Catherine Faust is an experienced educator and administrator with over 25 years of experience at Life University. She has served as Dean and Assoc. Dean of the College of Graduate and Undergraduate Studies (CGUS). Department Chair/Assistant Dean of the Sport Health Science program, in which she launched the UG exercise science and health coaching programs and the Master of Athletic Training degree program. She has experience in accreditation and curriculum design. She has served on many key University committees and the Faculty Senate Executive Committee. As a faculty member, she primarily taught at the graduate level in the areas of physiological testing and cardiovascular physiology. She has also consulted on projects such as Helping America’s Youth Conferences and several other presidential initiatives. She has written curricula frameworks for the Georgia State Department of Education in health occupations, which have been adopted by the State Board of Education and implemented at the secondary level. She has given several invited presentations and conducted several research projects. She has worked with the HOSA organization both at the state and national levels. She has a strong record of community volunteer work.

Before coming to LU, she spent ten years in the clinical setting specializing in cardiac rehabilitation and cardiology as both clinician and administrator. She also served as Vice President of Clinical Operations for Heart Alert, a telemedicine company specializing in cardiac monitoring. She developed patient monitoring protocols and was involved in research & development, which led to a successful FDA submission for an over-the-counter sale of a personal cardiac monitoring device.

She earned both her BS and MS from Eastern Kentucky University. She was a scholar-athlete on multiple Ohio Valley Conference Championship cross country and track and field teams. She was an All-American distance runner and has been inducted into numerous Hall of Fames (high school and college). She completed her Ph.D. in exercise physiology at Texas Woman’s University, where she specialized in exercise and nutritional research related to osteoporosis and sport performance. She served as both a research and teaching assistant during graduate school. 

Dr. Kramer was in private practice in Atlanta, Ga., from 1998 through 2020, 22 years. Dr. Kramer’s vast family practice allows her to bring real-world experience to the classroom. These experiences bring her mentoring styles to a unique level. Dr. Kramer has been a faculty member at Life University for 17 years in the Chiropractic Science Department. She will bring you through the program from second quarter to the twelfth quarter. Her passion for Chiropractic and education is evident in the classroom. Dr. Kramer is a published author in the Pediatric Chiropractic Textbook, the standard for the National Boards. In addition, she has created a series of Post Graduate Seminars titled “The Doctor, The Educator.”

When she is not on Campus, she spends time with her husband, Brad, and hysterical dog Gertie. They all enjoy walking around the city, exploring new locations, and making friends with other doggie parents. Her love of all animals has her planning vacations where she can spend time in their environment.

Dr. Astrid Cabrera was born and raised in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. After completing a Bachelor degree in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she decided to study Chiropractic at Life University. Growing up, science and performing arts were a great part of her life. She learned that through Chiropractic you could help and heal others using natural routes. As a chiropractor, she combines science and art to remove all subluxations. Her goal is to guide her patients and teach them that good health is not just the absence of symptoms, but the absence of any disease. Since she is from Puerto Rico she knows both English and Spanish giving her the opportunity to help more people of the community. She is trained to give care to patient of all ages including pediatric patients and pregnant women since she holds a Webster technique certification. She has a passion to educate others on Chiropractic and enhancing lifestyles.

 At the age of 16 Chiropractic transformed my life and my mission to help people create a lifetime of health and wellness began. 

Since graduating Life University, College of Chiropractic in 1986, I've helped thousands of people to better health and have strived to live a life of service to others. 

As an Assistant Professor and Faculty Clinician at Life University Center for Health and Optimal Performance, I have served on numerous CHOP hiring committees past and present, as well as serving on CHOP EHR Task Force. I’m a Skill Enhancement Lab Instructor, guest lecturer for the incoming 9th Quarter clinic orientation class and have served as Neurology Club and Gonstead Seminar Advisor as well as a CETL Catalyst Coaching Participant. 

I have served in numerous capacities in various organizations. I have served on the board of directors of the Council of New Jersey Chiropractors. I’ve held positions in my local business association including Vice President and President. Was a founding member of the North Plainfield Optimist Club, an inaugural Word Camp Lehigh Valley Organizing Committee Member. A Borough Council Candidates Debate Moderator and Borough Council Candidates Debate Panelist. I’ve had extensive involvement in youth sports as a Youth Sports Coach for North Hunterdon Baseball and Voorhees Junior Wrestling and have completed Rutgers Safety Training for Youth Sports Coaches. I’ve organized community events such as the North Plainfield 5K Run for 4 years and Voorhees Turkey Day Wrestling Tournament for 4 years. 

I’ve also conducted numerous chiropractic public service events including regular guest lecturer at Union County College’s Interpreter for the Deaf Program (Plainfield, NJ). Numerous talks, presentations, health fairs and screenings at schools, companies and in the community bringing the chiropractic message of health and wellness to the public.

Irving Russell, D.C., is a graduate of Life College (as it was known as then, class of September 1988). He has proudly served the Life University community in the capacity of clinic faculty member for over 13 years. Dr. Russell started practicing in March 1989, when he accepted a position as an associate doctor for a large, vibrant clinic in the metro Atlanta area. After working in this capacity for several years, He opened his own practice in 1994 and has continued to practice from then until the present, for 29 years. He is well versed in the Thompson and Full Spine Diversified techniques and has an unquenchable passion to educate and inspire students to become the best Doctor of Chiropractic possible.

Prior to attending Life College as a student, he served with distinction in the United States Air Force for 10 years on active duty, and 20 years as a Reservist. During his entire military career, Dr. Russell’s only job involved direct patient care, as a medical technician, Emergency Medical Technician/Emergency Room shift leader, Aeromedical Technician, and finally an Aeromedical Flight Instructor.
