Dr. Clough grew up in Akron Ohio. After receiving her bachelor’s degree, she found her passion for chiropractic while working in the exercise rehabilitation department at a local chiropractic office. Once she graduated Northeastern, Dr. Clough made her way to Colorado. She opened a successful practice located in one of the first free standing birthing centers in the state of Colorado. She was excited to shift her career to teaching because she wanted to help future generations of chiropractors. In her free time Dr. Clough likes to be outside hiking, gardening or near the closest body of water.

Dr. Lauren J Simmons received her B.S. in Biology from Spelman College and PhD in Biomedical Science/Neuroscience from Morehouse School of Medicine. In her role as a graduate student, Dr. Simmons was tasked with studying the cellular and molecular mechanisms involved in the pathophysiology of stroke. Her work resulted in a first author publication in the Journal of Neuroinflammation. Her findings have major implications for the development of a clinical therapy for stroke and other inflammation-mediated disorders. She is currently an Associate Professor of Physiology in the Health Sciences Department. Her courses include Cell and Neuromuscular Physiology, and Physiology Labs.

John Downes, DC is a graduate of Life University '86 and has taught at Life University since 1991. Through 37 years of practice he has worked on the medical teams for Georgia Games, AVP (Professional Beach Volley Ball), Arena Football, USATF, Web.com tour, Chinese Olympic Gymnastics team (2000) and Olympics '96, '00, '08, '12 with the medical team for Costa Rica. He has served as President of the US Sport Chiropractic Federation, and is a board member of the Council on Extremity Adjusting, International Sport Chiropractic Federation and manuscript reviewer for Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapy. He is a full professor and teaches in the Sport Health Science Master's program as adjunct faculty. He has served as the executive director of the Life University Sport Science Institute from 2008-2014. He is currently involved in research initiatives on campus and in Costa Rica and China. He lectures on neuromechanics in sport around the world.

Dr. Finnegan holds a BS and received a Doctor of Chiropractic from Life University in 2002. Prior to teaching at Life University, Dr. Finnegan owned a private practice dedicated to family care with an emphasis on sports injuries. He is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician and a member of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. Currently he serves as the Director of Clinics.

Tamisa Ridley is a librarian who serves as the Associate Director of Learning Resources. In addition, she also provides information literacy instruction in various research courses at Life University. Ms. Ridley serves on the Faculty Senate, Committee on Committees, and the Faculty Development Committee.
Ms. Ridley is passionate about advancing students’ information literacy knowledge and skills. She has over 20 years of academic experience working in private and public institutions. Ms. Ridley has provided information literacy instruction to Life University students for over five years, in person and online. She continues to seek ways to make information literacy instruction more accessible to the campus community.

Dr. Blumsack is passionate about empowering others for extraordinary living through the power of connection. He enjoys mentoring student interns in the real-world application of chiropractic care that focuses on the location, analysis, and correction of vertebral subluxation. He is in active practice focusing on upper cervical and pediatric care and the care of our nation's veterans. Dr. Blumsack is the developer of Dynamic Upper Cervical Analysis (DUCA), a unique way of determining upper cervical subluxations.
Dr. Blumsack teaches continuing education for the Georgia Council of Chiropractic and Dynamic Essentials. Dr. Blumsack is an active member of the International Chiropractors Association, International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, Georgia Council of Chiropractic, Florida Chiropractic Society, Palmetto State Chiropractic Association, American Legion and VetBuds.
Dr. Blumsack is a contributing author in the book-The Art of Being Healthy: Real-life accounts of children and mothers healing with Chiropractic (volume 3).
Dr. Blumsack is a Life University Men's Rugby Club Alumni.
Dr. Blumsack is married to Paula, and they have 5 children and 3 grandchildren.

Dr. T.J. Wuerth teaches in the Clinical Sciences department here at Life University. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Life University and then continued his educational journey to obtain his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in 2011. Dr. Wuerth is a chiropractic extremity practitioner certified through the Council on Extremity Adjusting and he specializes in extremity adjusting, Grostic upper cervical care, torque release technique, and is a full-spine supportive chiropractor.
Dr. Wuerth began serving Life University in August of 2015 as a faculty clinician in the outpatient clinic on the Life U. campus. He currently serves in the Clinical Sciences department here at Life.
Dr. Wuerth’s approach to instruction is built upon his experience as a coach. Dr. Wuerth believes the best way to get the students to succeed is through accountability, transparency, communication, support, and repetition.
Dr. Wuerth’s goal as an instructor is to help the students rise beyond the challenges and rigor of the DC program and provide them with the tools necessary to be successful doctors and leaders in the chiropractic profession.

Adjunct Faculty Clinician in Center of Health and Optimal Performance. Dr Crich can be reached at alexandra.crich@life.edu and works in the C-HOP clinic two mornings of the week. Originally from Canada, she completed her Undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario and then proceeded to Life University for her Doctor of Chiropractic. She graduated as the Valedictorian, Summa Cum Laude and the recipient of the Clinic Excellence Award. She has furthered her education through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association obtaining her CACCP distinction and is Webster Technique certified.
Dr Crich has a full time private practice in Marietta, where the majority of her patients are in the pediatric and prenatal category. She continues to be active in her community and enjoys hiking with her husband, daughter and dogs. She looks forward to helping students succeed and improve their clinical skills.

Geetha Sridaran, Librarian, Associate Professor at Drs. Sid E. & Nell K. Williams Library at Life University since 2006. She likes to explore outside of the limits of the library. She put Life University and the library at the national level with her National Institutes of Health (NIH) project awards three times. She acquired funding to educate The Life Center for Seniors on campus to search and find reliable health information and expanded it to the community with the first two awards. Through another funding partnered with the campus Service Initiatives Coordinator Rebecca Koch to highlight the newly established SafeSpace initiative on campus. Brought in a representative from the Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM) to educate campus community on LGBTIQ related online resources https://life.libguides.com/lgbtiq
She worked with other teaching faculty on establishing the faculty promotion process for Librarians. through the newly established Rank and Promotion Procedural Review Committee R&P PRC. She went through it and proved the process to be working. She received the Life University Faculty Merit Award twice.

BIOGRAPHY
Cara Bradford B.S., D.C is a second-generation Chiropractor. She grew up in her father’s office in Lansing, Michigan and fell in love with the profession long before pursuing a degree in it. She graduated from Life in June of 2012 and was excited to return to her hometown to practice. In 2015 she and her husband, Dr. Blake Bradford, made the decision to move their family back down to Marietta, GA where their story began. Dr. Cara Bradford practiced locally for a few more years before coming back to her alma mater to teach. Dr. Bradford held a position in the Division of Chiropractic Sciences. She lecturer for the Medical Terminology course, and genuinely enjoyed the many technique labs she was involved in. Seeing that “light bulb” moment in a student fueled her fire for teaching. In July of 2021, Dr. Bradford made the move to the Clinic side of the University. She is passionate about receiving feedback from students and putting plans into action. While teaching was a true passion in her life, she was hopeful she could have an even greater impact in an administrative role. So, in 2022 she accepted a position as the Director of Clinical Education. In this role, Dr. Bradford has a new fire ignited within. It is the fire and passion for advancement of this incredible institution and this remarkable profession that she holds so dear.
When Dr. Bradford is not on campus, she is with her family! She and Dr. Blake Bradford have three incredible children who keep them busy with baseball and softball games. But if they are not at the Baseball Diamond, you can find them at the Rugby pitch cheering on Dad as he coaches one of his three spectacular teams!
