Cassandra Jimenez DC, DACNB, FABVR is a Board Certified Chiropractic Neurologist born and raised in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. Dr. Jimenez is an Adjunct Professor in the Chiropractic Science Department within the Doctor of Chiropractic Program at Life University. She also serves as advisor to Life University’s Functional Neurology Club.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Natural Science with a major in Human Biology from the University of Puerto Rico in Bayamon, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Jimenez completed her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Life University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and was awarded with the Clinic Excellence Award, while also becoming the Valedictorian of her class.
Dr. Jimenez holds a Fellowship from the American Board of Vestibular Rehabilitation and has dedicated thousands of hours to clinical observations and post-doctorate courses in clinical neuroscience from the Carrick Institute. She has treated patients with complex neurological conditions in clinics located in Puerto Rico, Illinois, and Georgia. Currently, she serves as Lead Clinician at Georgia Chiropractic Neurology Center, where she continues to make a positive impact on her patients' lives. Her areas of expertise include traumatic brain injuries, dysautonomia, childhood developmental disorders, and vestibular rehabilitation.
Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Jimenez actively contributes to the field through her written work. She is a contributing author for the book Concussion Discussions: A Functional Approach to Recovery After Brain Injury (Volume 2). Additionally, she co-authored a case study published in The Georgia Chiropractic Magazine (Spring 2022) and has peer-reviewed case studies published in the Journal Frontiers in Neuroscience.
During her free time, Dr. Jimenez finds joy running outdoors, spending time with her two Golden Retrievers, Kurious and Megara and traveling the world alongside her partner.

Dr. Bernal, originally from Miami, Florida, was raised in South Georgia, and now calls Atlanta his home. He is a 2017 graduate of Life University where he earned both his Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Chiropractic. After graduation, he worked as an associate Chiropractor at Powell Chiropractic Center in Tifton, GA. While there he had the amazing opportunity to work alongside an experienced team specializing in family and corrective Chiropractic care. In 2020, along with his wife Kristen, he returned to Atlanta to join Thryve Wellness Group serving as the director of Chiropractic care for 3 years.
He has always had a passion for teaching and is thrilled to have the opportunity to teach and share the amazing benefits of chiropractic care with students and community members. In his spare time he enjoy fishings, riding motorcycles, woodworking, and spending time with friends and family. He looks forward to meeting you and discussing the true meaning of health and how chiropractic care can benefit you.

A Georgia Native received his Doctor of Chiropractic from Life University. Since beginning practice he has been recognized as one of Atlanta's Top Chiropractors from Atlanta Magazine 2018, Who’s Who top Doctors 2020, and Best of North Atlanta 2021 & 2022. He his an avid golfer and holds certification from the Titleist Performance Institute.

Jodie Knapton is an oral historian with specialties in U.S. History, gender history, and religion. She started research endeavors and teaching in graduate school in 2003, focusing on programs such as Writing Across the Curriculum, Supplemental Instruction, history research and teaching assistantships. She has taught full-time at more than one college and university since 2008, while pursuing a final terminal degree and her own original oral history research. She won a Regents Scholarship, the Mary Ritter Beard award at UCLA for original research on women in history, an Atlanta Pride Community Builders Award, PFLAG Foundation Scholarship, Phi Theta Kappa honored faculty member (GPC), professor of the year nominee at Life with certificates for outstanding teaching, and most recently the Hero Teaching Award (2021) from the University System of Georgia. Her past work has included documentaries and researching and co-writing The Unspoken Past, 1940–1970, an Atlanta LGBT+ history project. In 2022 she presented original research on GenZ mental health for faculty of multiple universities and for the USG Teaching and Learning Conference.

Gustavo is an insightful, persevering, and encouraging assistant professor who loves to help future healthcare professionals grow, learn, and achieve elevated levels of proficiency in the use of exercise as medicine.
Gustavo is a firm believer in using one’s God given talents, abilities, and experiences for the benefit of others. His willingness to serve others comes as a response to the grace, mercy, and love he has experienced in own life. It is his conviction that discipline, not desire, is the true source to living one’s destiny. To love, to give, to do, and to serve out of the abundance found in one’s heart is a grateful response to the goodness we experience every day.
Gustavo began his professional career in 2003 and throughout the years he has worked in the fields of cardiac rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, brain injury and other neurological injuries, as well as strength and conditioning for individuals with physical disabilities. It was through his work with paralympic athletes that he discovered the purpose and impact of exercise as medicine.

I am originally from Colombia, but had the pleasure of spending part of my childhood in Sydney, Australia before moving to the U.S. I enjoy working out, reading books and spending quality time with my family. I have been in private practice since 2018 in East Cobb and specialize in Pediatric, Perinatal and Family Wellness. I am passionate about helping others reach their maximum potential through chiropractic care.

Dr. Kelly Morgenroth started her college education at Georgia Southern University, where she majored in Athletic Training and worked as an athletic trainer until 1991. She then continued working as an athletic trainer in the physical therapy field until returning to school at Life University. While working as an AT for the rugby team at Life she earned her DC. She has worked with professional football teams, multiple high schools and colleges as both an AT and a DC. She incorporated that skill into her practice that she started in central Georgia, in 2011 and is still seeing patients on a once-a-week basis. She was born in Kentucky, where her extended family still lives, but grew up in Gwinnet county, where her immediate family lives. Outside of chiropractic, she enjoys watching sports, the beach, laughing, spending time with family, friends and pets.

Dr. Dubuque graduated from Life University in December of 2018. Prior to that he obtained his bachelor's degree at Florida Atlantic University while being a 4-year student athlete for the University playing tennis. Dr. Dubuque still stays active in the tennis community while playing multiple days a week and coaching at a local high school part time. Dr. Dubuque has earned multiple certifications incorporating functional movement, corrective exercises and extremity adjusting.
