Dr. Kent Vanderslice is currently an Associate Professor at Life University in the Chiropractic Science Division and is a 1998 Graduate of Life University. He has been an instructor at Life University since 2010 and holds a master’s degree in instructional design and technology through The University of Georgia.
He has been in private practice since 1998 and is currently at The Chiropractic Center of Marietta. His practice focus is on Family wellness care, and he uses manual adjusting techniques as well as instrumental techniques to provide care. Dr. Vanderslice is certified with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, and Breech (In Utero Constraint) technique. Dr. Vanderslice has completed 120 hours course training in extremity care and is proficient with keeping the athlete active no matter the age.
Dr. Vanderslice's philosophy on chiropractic is: Chiropractic is a natural approach that does not use drugs or surgery. It is not based on curing symptoms but rather on maintaining wellness and vitality by adjusting fixated joints to allow a clear signal of communication between the body and the brain resulting in a balanced adaptable nervous system.
