Dr. Hussein Elsangak graduated from Alazhar University Medical School in Cairo, Egypt 1982. He practiced medicine as a General Practitioner (Internist) for four years in Cairo and concluded his military service as an intern in Almaza Military hospital for infectious and tropical disease for one year.
He enrolled at Life University in October 1986 and graduated in June 1989 with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He then joined the Anglo European College of Chiropractic in England as a clinic faculty in October 1993, supervising the interns at their final stage of education and providing chiropractic spinal health care. While in England, he attained the certification of Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP).
Dr. Elsangak returned to Life University in October 1995, and has held the position of Department Head of Clinical Proficiency, Division Chair of Clinical Sciences, and Assistant to the Dean for Program Development. He concluded 300 hours of functional neurology with Carrick Institute. Currently, Dr. Elsangak is full-time faculty in the Clinical Sciences Division.
In his career, he’s delivered more than 100 postgraduate lectures and seminars across the USA, Canada and Puerto Rico on the topics of Anti Aging, Risk Management, HIV/AIDS education and prevention, as well as health wellness promotion. He’s also participated in educational, research and patient care conferences for the European Chiropractic Union throughout the last decade in Amsterdam, Dublin, Barcelona and Athens.
He is a board member of Alliance for Health Promotion in Geneva, an NGO to theWHO and participated in WHA (World Health Assembly) in2014 and 2015. He presented DzHealth and Wellness in the Work Environment and Educationdz at the 4thGlobal Health Promotion Forum in collaboration with the WHO Social Determinant of Health Unit and Geneva University Institute of Global Health
He is a national and international lecturer in the topics of Anti Aging, Wellness and Clinical Chiropractic Risk Management.
