BIOGRAPHY
Education

Dr. Rau is an associate professor in the Sport Health Science (SHS) department and formerly the Director of Sports Chiropractic for Life’s Athletic Department. He graduated from Life in 1982 and joined the faculty in 1994 teaching in the College of Chiropractic and Sport Health Science. He combines over 25 years of classroom experience with over 40 years of clinical experience including traveling with Life’s teams for seven years and providing care for college athletes for over 25 years. Teams he has worked with have won over 40 national championships, scores of individual national champions along with hundreds of All-Americans.
Teaching in SHS for many years, Dr. Rau attempts to bring real-world application and the latest research to the classroom and patient care, specifically the care of athletes by chiropractors.
Dr. Rau has also taught four of the seven modules for the Council on Extremity Adjusting. This seminar leads to the CCEP certification. He also serves on their Board of Directors.
Dr. Rau maintains a part-time private practice in Marietta, Georgia. He is married to Lynnette and they have a grown married daughter, son-in-law and two grandsons. His interests include golf and reading and hanging out with his family.
