BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Belcastro is a native of West Virginia where she taught elementary and special education in a public school system. After completing her doctorate at the University of Pittsburgh, she worked as an associate professor at Geneva College in Pennsylvania. During her tenure at Geneva, Dr. Belcastro served on many committees, co-directed the special education internship program, and supervised student teachers. She also conducted professional development workshops for in-service teachers. Dr. Belcastro has presented at local, state, and national conferences. She has authored and co-authored several publications.

She lives in Acworth, Georgia, with her husband, Richard, and they have two sons. Dr. Belcastro is an active member of her church community.  She enjoys reading, exercising, traveling, and home decorating.
