BIOGRAPHY

Chani Butler (she/her/hers) is an Instruction/Reference Librarian at the Drs. Sid E. & Nell K. Williams Library. She received her MLIS from Valdosta State University in 2022. She teaches information literacy instruction sessions and provides research assistance services in the library. She serves on Faculty Senate, on the Diversity Committee, and on the “Big Event” Planning Committee.

She is a member of the American Library Association, the Association of College and Research Libraries, The Georgia Library Association, the Georgia Poetry Society, and the National Genealogical Society. She has published five books of poetry and is currently working on a new book. She is interested in the place where art, science, play, and learning meet.
