Course Description:
The care of children with special needs varies widely, their age, unique needs, and recognizing the individual needs of the child. Their subluxation patterns will be drastically different for each child and their individual needs.
Statement of Purpose: More Parents are seeking chiropractic care for their children with special needs. They are dedicated and desire information that they may not receive elsewhere. The more confident you are with children with special needs in your office, the more confident the parents will be with you. Early chiropractic care is vital for children with special needs. It is an important time in their development.
Introduction to Normal and Abnormal Pediatric X-rays

Breastfeeding and the Chiropractic Component

Course Description:
This program will give chiropractors better understanding of how chiropractic care may have a significant role in the success of the breastfeeding dyad. Chiropractors should have a working knowledge of basic lactation so when they take a history they can identify potential
red flags that could lead to breastfeeding difficulties. Collaborative care is essential in difficult breastfeeding situations and chiropractic care should be an essential part of a breastfeeding mothers support team. After this course the chiropractor will be able to identify and discuss their roll in aiding other providers obtain optimal breastfeeding goals. Learning Objectives:
- Have a basic understanding of normal breastfeeding: prenatal, delivery, and postnatally
- Be able to identify breastfeeding positions that are compensatory to birth subluxations or anatomical variants that could be interfering with breastfeeding.
- Be able to effectively communicate to patients when further evaluation is needed and how to work collaboratively with other providers.

Course Description:
This 12 hour interactive course is part of robust curriculum designed for practitioners seeking to fine tune their pregnancy and pediatric chiropractic analysis and technique skills. In this 12 hour skills based module, attendees will be given 8 hours of an updated perspective on the upper cervical complex with updated information on radiology, thermography, palpation, and significant emphasis will be placed on technique drills and adjustment delivery. 4 hours will focus on infant examination with relevance placed on chiropractic practice.

Mastering Chiropractic Cranial (Part 1)

Course Description:
This course will introduce Chiropractic Craniopathy and provide skill building activities to develop the application. A pediatric cranial exam will be included and incorporated into the special population of children with tethered oral tissue. It will cover evaluation for tethered oral tissues and the associated myofascial adaptations along with management considerations with methods to address the cranium, spinal and fascial distortion patterns. In addition, this course includes cranial methods appropriate for the pregnant population.
Mastering Chiropractic Cranial (Part 2)

This course will review the basics of chiropractic Craniopathy with an expansion of principles and applications. Topics include cranial strain patterns, applications to special conditions and the DeJarnette Area Spreads techniques. Case presentations are included.
Leading the Way for Optimal Brain Development with Spinal Movement

Course Description:
Spinal movement leads to developmental movement patterns that are critical for proper brain development. This hands-on class will look at how chronic subluxation patterns affect developmental movement patterns and how this can lead to persistent primitive reflexes, postural instability and altered functional brain development. This is the foundation of the Developmental Origins of Health and Disease.
Logan Basic Technique for the infant, child and prenatal population group

Course Description:
This 12-hour seminar will cover the Logan Basic technique (LBT). This will include anatomy and biomechanics of the pelvis and spine as viewed by the LBT. The attendee will learn the evaluation of the infant, child and prenatal patient, as well as adapting this technique to these population groups.
