Before Move-In Day
- Check your Life University email address for move-in day information and details.
- Review our suggested packing list here.
- Review the campus map so you will be familiar with our campus.
- Talk to your roommate. Discuss what you plan to bring to make Life University your new home and what you and your roommate can share.
Move-In Day Process
- All students, including those living in Life’s Village Retreat will begin the check-in process at The Commons. At this time, students will receive their Student ID card and room keys (if necessary). Once the student has completed the check-in process at The Commons, then the student will be permitted to move into their assigned building and room.
- The University will have signs at the main campus entrances and throughout campus directing students and their families to The Commons for check-in and to Life’s Village Retreat to move-in the student’s belongings.
- Parking signs and staff will direct you to the parking area and unloading zone.
- The University will provide moving bins for your assistance. If you choose to arrive early or arrive after the move-in date, moving bins will not be available.
- All students will have a mandatory floor meeting that they will need to attend the night of move-in going over housing policies and regulations and to meet our Residence Life Coordinators and Resident Assistants.
