Emergency Notification System
NOTIFICATION SYSTEM
The following methods of communication may be utilized to notify the student body, faculty and staff of emergency events that may occur on campus.
- The telephone is the primary means of emergency notification for Life University. This system is intended for the immediate transmission of specific information regarding an emergency to all areas of the campus. Public Safety shall make the initial activation of the telephone tree to disseminate notifications to the campus community.
- The IT department will generate a mass e-mail to the campus community.
- Notices can be posted to the University website.
- Inter-campus televisions will be utilized to broadcast notices to the campus community.
- The Department of Public Safety may broadcast emergency notifications over the public address systems of the Public Safety vehicles.
